Is my Senegal too old to start training?

Gherkin is my Senegal :senegal: She turned 1 on March 20th of this year. I am starting to clicker train and I'd like to know if there is a certain age that Senegals can no longer learn new tricks? I know she is still young, but should I have started when she was just a baby?

The only parrot that is too old to be trained is a dead parrot. Otherwise any parrot is a capable learner. One year old is still very young and qualified for accelerated learning. I didn't really start much formal training on Kili/Truman until they were over 9 months old.

My Senegal was 8 when I got him. Didnt know any tricks when I got him. Now he knows quite a few. As long as the bird will eat it can learn new tricks.
