he is half tame, he steps on my hand when i put food on it, i can take it out of the cage for like 3 minutes but then i think he gets scared and hops back inside the cage from my hand
i do not know what is the next step of taming him!

Taming- cockatiel !

My cockatiel is 5 months (got it when he was 12 weeks,parent reared)
he is half tame, he steps on my hand when i put food on it, i can take it out of the cage for like 3 minutes but then i think he gets scared and hops back inside the cage from my hand
i do not know what is the next step of taming him!
Please help.

Don't lure the bird or it won't come when there is no lure.
