ok i made a post and got feedback that i rushed things so.... i stop putting them out of cage to train them
so after that,
so here is the scenario
i got a pair of cockatiels

the female loves to eat millet very much and would follow the millet whever it is in the cage even if i go round and round she will slowly and sometimes carefully make it way there just to eat it, i even put millets in my hand and she eats it, but whenever ere is no food in my hand she would turn her back on me :( but if there is food she would eat why is it? oh and i put my hand inside the cage with millet and she would eat it also , but without millet she would go away :(

as for my male cockatiel , he is really giving me hard time :( he wouldnt follow the millet like the female , but he would eat it if i gave it to him just outside the cage where he is near, but most of the time he would still ignore it and just stare at me, and when i put my hand in , he would just look at it, but when i get it near him he would open the beak , like ready to bite , and i know its a warning but i just put my hand there and stay still for few minutes then put it out , but should i just keep doing it? im scared to put my hand near it cause he bites really hard and can make your fingers bleed....

Ok well don't worry about her lack of interest to start off with, parrots are not like dogs who do things to please their pack leaders, this is normal as they tend to only want to do things that benefit them. In this instance it benefits her to come to you when you have food because she gets to eat something she likes. If you don't have food then why bother coming? after all she doesn't yet have a bond with you, she has her male companion for that and you are just a stranger to her at the moment. With consistent taming and training this will turn around and she will probably start to enjoy hanging around with you (her extended flock) but this will take time and patience.

As for the male he may well be harder to win round, he will eat when you offer him food sometimes, believe me this is a good sign but its still important to let him take his time, let him come to you (and indeed you should still do this with the female too).
Cockatiels on the whole are pretty laid back and are unlikely to bite so long as they feel in control of the circumstances. In all honesty I would say if the bird is in a position where it feels the need to bite you have pushed things too far.
Just be patient and keep doing what you are doing by sitting and talking to them and offering treats. Remember they are still new and settling down, if either look like they are getting stressed then back off a bit/for a while. Watch them closely and learn what their body language means, this will go a long way to helping you tame them as you will know when to back off without letting them get too stressed. You are already making progress, try to keep hold of that fact.

thank you for replying ^^ hmmm still no progress today , but they still do that , they would eat if I offer food but would back off if they saw my index finger near there belly and I would back off and so they are , and after that , I would offer millet again , but im showing my both hands that it can be friendly and won't eat them but offer them treats they wanted.... :? but owel , I will still do my best , they dont mind me near the cage but they would stare at me :? and when I open the cage I can see they are somehow getting ready to back off , and when I put my hands at the bottom of the cage they are still in that position , then after a while , they would calm down and that is where I start offering them millets, though most of time they run away xD and try to reach the millet as far as possible x3

Sorry I still think you are going too fast from how I am reading your text. Sorry if I am misunderstanding what you are doing.
