Birds do not understand how windows work. Yours will not know that if it gets out there's a big wide world that he is likely to get lost outside the window frame. Please keep your windows shut securely every time your bird is out of its cage. You won't be able to train your bird not to go outside so your running a very high risk of never seeing your parrots again. Alternatively do what the other poster suggested and fit secure screens.

You can't train a bird not to go to the light. They will do it every time because light is like a magnet to them. Put a screen on the window and a perch in front of it so he can go there to look out without any danger.
