Yea, when she is in her cage or on her perch she goes whenever she wants but when im playing with her id like her to go to her perch or cage to go instead of on me. Im not asking her to hold it, just to go in the appropriate place. I agree holding it isn't good for her.

my birds do not hold their poop if they have to go they fly or jump off me. penny likes his basket so much he just happens to poop in it rather than all over my kitchen. I don't mind the poop on myself but penny also likes to land on guests who visit and rather than have them freak out scream then get bit like they have in the past I found it easier to just teach him not to poop on people. my birds are cage free except when they are sleeping so I try my best to make it more comfortable for visitors who are already uneasy coming into a house with 2 birds flying around. mya is not as friendly with outsiders as penny yet but she just never pooped on me she jumps off my lap and runs to the back of the couch to go on the floor.
