My 4 month old african grey won't step up

I bought a african grey Congo he is 4 months old he won't step up for me but at the breeders he was stepping up for me. He will let pet him but won't step please help

How long have you had the bird? It may just be the new surroundings and you are new to him so you have not had the time to build enough trust as of yet.

Ditto. He's still a baby and you have just taken him out of his familiar environment so it's perfectly understandable.
