A good way to start training?

Postby NICrosis » Wed Aug 13, 2014 11:35 pm

The Tinmah has been with me about 2 days now and seems relatively fond of me, but I can tell he got very little mental stimulation in five friggin years. He has trouble with point training, and even though we show him with the eckie how to rip balsa wood apart to get sunflowers, he completely ignores it, even spitting it out.

What's a good entry level foraging training for a 5 year old who's probably spent his whole life watching Disney movies?

my grey absolutely loves to shred newspaper. Try making some balls of crumpled newspaper wit a peanut inside of it and giving him a couple of them, and see what he does with that. Even if he does nothing at first leave them for him.

Let me know what he does.
