When do I start training my new parrot?

I bring my parrot home tomorrow. I know I should give him time to settle in, so when should I start training? He is 4 months old and he hasn't been hand fed however he has been handled by humans fairly regularly.

This is just my opinion, but I never start training for at least a month as I feel that the time is better spent by allowing the bird to acclimate to myself and its new environment and for it to relax as well as to get the bonding process off to a good start. You are going to have years of time with your bird and the first few weeks are very important in the beginning of your relationship.
