I really have not given much thought on the best way to present the nutritional information on these Items so let's just see what happens.
Farro is an ancient grain that is a variety of wheat and provides a substantial amount of protein and selenium.

Farro Nutrition - per 100 grams whole, cooked
http://www.farronutrition.com/img/table1.png
I was hopeing that the table would post as it provided the best nutritional breakdown that I was able to find, but I guess we will have to rely om the link provided.

This is from another site please note that Farro is a significant source of iron

Per ½ cup raw farro:
◾170 calories
◾1.5 g of fat
◾0 g saturated fat
◾0 mg of sodium
◾34 g of carbohydrates
◾5 g of dietary fiber
◾2 mg of iron
◾6 g of protein
◾4 mg of niacin
◾60 mg of magnesium
◾2 mg zinc

Pearled barley
Pearled barley has had most of its bran removed. It is a good source of fiber, protein, B complex vitamins, iron and selenium.

Buckwheat Groats
Buckwheat is neither a cereal grain or a type of wheat, it is the fruit seed of the buckwheat plant. It is gluten free. It is high in magnesium and is a good source of iron. Most of its calories are from complex carbohydrates. It is also high in B vitamins particularly niacin which is used to make hormones by the body.

liz wrote:Well I wrote a long post then lost it.

Short explanation: It is that time again and Myrtle is not as sweet as she was last year. I went to bed bloody from Myrtles jelous bites. I re read the whole post and got nothing. She is so aggressive that I am thinking of drastic measure. As Wolf said last year "they don't make parrot muzzles". GOD help me I am considering a wing trim to induce a little fear and settle her down.

Someone please come up with a solution. She bit both hands, my cheek and the worst was the cartilage in my right ear. She is so good at flying that she can swoop me and bite before I can defend myself. She needs to be taken down a notch and all I can think of is to trim her and let her feel some fear.

Pajarita and Wolf have given you lots of good help, but every parrot has a personality, and when its that time again even with doing all they say there may still be a problem. Wolf made a good point that a door may be needed because time outs can reshape behaviour very well.

If you do feel that you need to clip, because nothing else has worked well enough, a clip will take her down a notch, but you should bare in mind if a parrot has always been flighted a very sparying clip is the only one to consider. It does take them down a peg, but you dont want them to feel fear, only to reconsider what behavior they can get away with. There will be no more ariel attacks, and even on the cage the behavior will be changed. I have seen this many times with many parrots. At least there is this for a last resort.

I hope things change soon for you, it is no fun to be bullied by a parrot thats for sure.

Things have gotten better. I have not changed their diet yet while waiting to learn what would be best. I only had one bloody day. I believe she knows how tramatized I was and the next day was a lot easier.
I prayed about it since I could not handle any more. HE must have heard me because she has even let me help Rambo by picking him up and putting him where he wants to be so he does not have to do all the climbing. I can carry him around the house as long as I don't put him on my left shoulder that she claims as hers.
I set up a cage in the dining room for Rambo so he would have more interaction time and it is working. He is starting to act like the old Rambo I had in NC. He has been talking to Aunt B a lot. He calls her Betty. If he is talking and she is not listening he will yell "AUNT BETTY".

Just two comments, Liz. I no longer use buckwheat for my birds but, if you do, you have to make sure it's toasted. You need to put them to bed earlier than 7 pm because, by doing this, you are keeping them at a breeding schedule all year round and Myrtle is now at an age when she wants to breed.

I really really appreciate all your help Wolf. You are above and beyond a good friend.

Pajarita, I am not in thinking mode. Will you just pick from my list and tell me what I should be feeding of grain. You can probably glance at it and know.

My babies have a much better life since you two have stepped in. I appreciate the suggestions from the other members too.

Everything is OK but you just listed buckwheat and did not say if it was plain or toasted so I just wanted to make sure you were getting the toasted one. I used to put toasted buckwheat in the gloop but -and this might have been just a coincidence- at the same time I started, Sweetpea started plucking so I stopped it.
