So we got our african grey Tiko 6 years ago hand raised she steps up for my mam and stuff but now she dosent because shes starting to like me since I started interacting with her and my mam wants me to train her because i do so good with Rocko my cockatiel I want to train her too I really like her and I want to have a good bond with her and soon be able to take her out in a harness and fly in the park where she can spread her wings she is fully flighted and has never been clipped once I wanna teach her the basic step up but first I want to get her used to me other than just feeding her and giving her treats like my mam can give her kisses and scratch her head she is already target trained so im gonna teach her step up from there if you have any experience specifically with greys it would really help alot. :gray:

Training is the same whether it's a CAG, a LSC or whatever but, if I were you, I would start by bonding with her and learning her body language so you can avoid getting bit -and this is not only to save you from pain but also so as not to get her used to biting you, a habit that once is ingrained, it's real hard to break.

She never usually bites she was half way nearly falling down the chair she was probably trying to grip on and your right I should bond with her first thanks for the advice
