Parrotlet attention problems, advice needed (first post!)

Actually she has never had a problem with the hamster ball. She was in it almost as quick as I could open it the first time. As long as I don't get too far ahead of her she will follow me around while in it and if she wanders I tap on the floor, it is a laminate floor, and that redirects her towards the sound.
