It sounds like a more-or less harmless plan that might work , I will try it out today and see how she reacts.

My mother was the first other person that Myrtle went to. Once Momma accepted that I had another bird she wanted to see it thinking it would be like Rambo. Momma was bed bound at that time. Myrtles first contact with her was not with her. Momma had pink plastic curlers in her hair and Myrtle could not resist. Momma laid there giggling while Myrtle opened and removed one curler at a time.
Myrtle was half starved when I got her. My shoulder and food were very important. Even though she was scared she would beg whatever someone was eating. While eating a piece of bread or a green bean she would sit beside them so she could get another when that one was done. My daughter is the exception. Myrtle will beg from her but fly away to eat the food. That is the closest contact she makes with Rachel and never goes to her unless she has food.
I don't train any of them so I never got in the habit of giving treats. I use praise when they do something good.
I would try sitting next to your bf while eating plain popcorn and offer her a piece. She will take it from your hand but stay on him. Any contact is better than no contact.
