That is precisely the point I was making with the stories of my birds and their speech. Or al least I thought that it was what I was saying. Maybe I wasn't clear enough in my posting, I will look at it.

I re read my post and it was not clear in this last post that this was what I was saying, it was in a earlier reply in this topic. But yes, the only way that I know of to teach them cognitive speech is to speak to them as if you were speaking to any other human, you must speak cognitively for them to learn to speak cognitively as well. Thanks for bring this to my attention, I will do better in this regard.
