Object aggression with Meyers

Ok, so i've been debating how to word this for a little while. It all started with strange aggression when she was around water. The first time was when I was trying to get her to bathe in a pie. She was very unsure about the whole thing. I had my hand in it to get her interested, and was just wiggling my fingers in it. She would bite the rim of the dish, almost like she was stressed or unsure, lick the water, but then she started attacking my hand when ever I would move my fingers, just in the water though. I figured this was just because she was unsure and not confident about the water, so wasn't too concerned. So from there on out, I would just let her figure it out on her own, putting her with the water and let her explore, and now she'll play in it finally. The second time was with running water int he sink. She has always had a fascination with running water and likes to play with it while i'm using the sink. Well I decided to let her shower in it, putting the water pressure on low, and putting it on the "shower" setting vs just running water. She was interested. I let her go down my arm to get to the water instead of making her. And she was sitting there licking it, not quite playing, but thinking about it. Well I had my fingers in the water to give her the option of going int he water. Well when I moved my fingers she got all upset and attacked them. The good thing with this is I could just rotate my arm a little and she stopped attacking (this is how we originally trained her not to bite hard).
Well today, she did something similar, but it wasn't related to water at all, and it something we have always done, so I don't think it was lack of confidence or fear. I normally read magazines with her at the table or go through junk mail, and she sits and and chews on them happily. Well today I was going through some loose leaf junk mail, and she was chewing away. Then she moved to the other side of the table, then rushed at the sheet I was moving aside and attacked it, then attacked my hand. Like she was all upset I was moving it. I scolded her and she stopped, but I'm not really sure what provoked it.
She is normally very good with me, but aggressive with my husband. I just don't want this to progress, and want to understand what is triggering it.
Also on a side note, she has been trying to regurg food more often the last week than usual to me. Normally she really likes head scratches, but lately she lets me scratch a little and goes to regurging (which I walk away to discourage). Not really a huge issue, just kinda annoying

I just say "no" when one of them try to feed me.

The aggression is not for your hand but for what it is holding. I would just let go of it before she tries to make you let go.

Are you 100% sure this bird is only 9 months old? What light schedule is she on? Diet? Do you keep to strict routines? If so, what are they? Does she display any other aggression? If so, what exactly, to whom and under what conditions?

Yep, she was born Sept 18th, 2014, got her from a parrot store and visited her when she was young. Diet is that mash with pellets. We have a some what of a routine. I'm on call 5 days a week, normally home in the morning. So our routine is she comes out and gets the mash (going to change to gloop now I know they're different we do some training, then pets/cuddles, or she is out playing on top her cage while I clean. We have been changing our routine bc I want to get her used to more things, so I've been having her on me while I clean sometimes, but sometimes I go to fast and freak her out, so she hangs out on teh cage. Then after that we both sit and chill at the computer for an hour or so. She is typically in the cage in the evening or on top the cage. She gets her edemame treat from my husband (whom we're working on aggression with) and try to have out time with him, either chilling next to him on the computer, or occasionally on his shoulder.
She doesn't really have aggression to me otherwise. She gets squaky if I am doing something over her head (moving food dishes, ect) but I go slow if she seems concerned, and let her get used to it.
The weird thing is she has always done the regurgitating, ever since I got her. At first just the head bob, then actual food after the first month. I've always put her back and ignored her, but its getting more persistent. Haven't tried messing with light schedule bc of our living situation. Shes in the dining room/living room. Our schedule is up at 6 or 7 (latest is 8 on weekends) and bed at 10 pm. Don't have a spare room to try to do a more rigid day/night with her, but we're moving next spring, and I've been looking into that for when she has her own room (and 2 cages

If she has always regurgitated, you need to take her to a vet for a physical (ask for a choanal swab) because babies only regurgitate when they have a crop infection (usually, fungus).

She only does it when interacting with me, not at any other time

Well, the thing is that regurgitation is a breeding behavior and babies don't produce sexual hormones so they don't have any breeding behaviors. Of course, it could be an eating disorder from incorrect weaning but, personally, I would make sure there isn't a medical cause for it.

Is edemame soybean?

I just looked it up, Liz, and, yes, edemame is soybean, more precisely the immature soybeans. Not something that I would eat or feed to my birds.

I've tried them once and they are quite tasty but I cannot consume any soy because of my slow thyroid and I would not feed soy to any of my animals.
