This is so funny! My hen, Keeta, looks just like your male only she has a grey wash on her wings and your hen looks just like my turquoise male, Rajah. How cool is that?

The Bluebell is only youngster she's not even a year old aviary bred and was parent raised she picked us when we went to look at her.
We had her hand tame within a week she was a delight to train.
George was a rescue which we were offered for our outside aviary as the owners had lost interest and said he was to noisey ??
He was so friendly and hand tame it seemed a shame to put him out in the aviary with the other birds so we decided to keep him indoors and get him a playmate.
At the moment he's not looking his best as he's going through a very heavy moult

Keeta is 11 yrs. old and was in New Jersey when I got her. She just needed a home and was plucking which has improved once she started getting attention. She appears to be a Lucinda/ Celestial hybrid. Rajah was also in NJ or NY when Pajarita got him for Keeta as I was looking for a mate for her. He is a 4 yr. old retired breeder. He is not yet tame although Keeta is and loves her time with me daily.

That pic with both on my hand was taken 2 days after we got bluebell bearing in mind she was an aviary and parent raised bird was really wild when we first got her she just took to us straight away.

I was given Keeta with the promise of getting her a mate if possible, bearing in mind their personalities although it was about a nine hour drive to get her. I really knew very little about Parrotlets, but it was fine and Keeta and I got along right from the start and she was on my hand in her cage in a matter of minutes. I have been consistently impressed at not only their intelligence but also their heart. Given their size they are really a quite amazing bird and I am so happy that I have been able to provide her with not only a home but with some help from Pajarita a wonderful mate.
