I'm so sorry for not replying sooner, I've had some very busy times since I last posted. Thank god it's settled down now. I have some photos of Peach since Wolf requested them, and I love showing her off, hehe.

She just loves sitting on heads and snuggling in my hair. She burrowed into my neck and made herself a little hair nest and fell asleep once
Good news! We found a small scale budgie and cockatiel breeder not very far from where we live about 5 days ago. She has an absolute menagerie of animals, is mad as a box of frogs (in a good way) and obviously works very hard with her birds. She has an aviary outside, with her budgies, cockatiels and finches in, with nestboxes where they're sitting on chicks. She has an African Grey and a Cockatoo inside, as well as her other house birds, and they're all in fantastic condition and are fed pretty much what I feed Peach.
I was going to wait and see how her cockatiel chicks turned out, since they hatched 4 days ago, but she had one baby boy left from the old clutch (fully weaned, feathered, energetic and happy) a lutino. They seem to be parent reared but she does handle the babies a lot so taming would be quite easy, despite him being in an aviary at the moment. We did our quizzing this time, saw her other birds, asked what she does with them, feeding, etc etc. I felt much more comfortable this time around than I did when we got Houdini, god rest his soul. We're bringing him home tomorrow! My mother wants to call him Boris after the Mayor of London, who's famous for his personality and crazy blonde hair, but we shall see

I hope to god he and Peach get on at the end of the quarantine period when I put them in the same room, it would be wonderful for her to have a friend. I'm well aware that despite me spending pretty much all day with her, she needs more than what I can give. Whatever's best for her, I will do. She is a feisty madam though!
I really have been bitten with the bird bug, guys. *sighs happily*
