As I'm new to parrot training there's a lot of terminology that I was finding confusing and didn't really understand

That was a very good read. Thank you for sharing. Now I have the word "bridge" to explain how Myrtle plays injured and dieing. She would complain by squacking and turn her head sideways down to her feet. Rachel, my daughter, shot her and she did it again. So now when Myrtle gets shot she squacks and flops her head over.
Instead of playing dead she plays injured and dieing.
