When to move on?

Postby ParrotsForLife » Thu Dec 03, 2015 3:00 pm

So everyday I have just been feeding Mango and Talking to him if he is looking away he immediately looks at me when I talk and looks happy he is always talking (In his own language lol) and he wasn't comfortable doing that before. He has been introduced to the cockatiels and they hang out together everyday at first Rocko was scared of him and I'm guessing thats because of his experience with Rio but I'm glad he isn't scared of Mango anymore and they get on fine. They haven't actually interacted yet just hanged out.Should I keep doing what I'm doing just talking to him?

Not answering your question, but you gave me quite a scare. I thought on of your birds had passed away with how you phrased the thread title. Glad to hear that is not the case.

That is what I thought too. I almost did not read it. I don't need to start the day being sad.

Does he move closer to you when you approach him? Does he eagerly take treats from your hand without hesitation? Does he ask for head scritches or to step up or anything at all?
