I often join in with my birds, mostly during their morning greet the world screamfest and in the evening one as most parrots scream and contact call at those times. In the last3 going on four years I have had no problems with excessive screaming. My birds like rock and I usually put on classic rock, because that is what I like the most but they do listen to quite a bit of new stuff.
You do have to be careful about overstimulation because with a parrot excitement is very close to aggressiveness.
Showers, your bird will probably need showers more often during the winter if you have to heat your home then because the heating dries out the air and can make both their skin and feathers feel more itchy. Birds don't need warm showers as that can remove to many of the oils from the feathers and skin. The water would be best if it is just about room temperature, what I would call tepid. If they get their shower or bath in the morning there is no need to dry them as they will have enough time for their down feathers to dry naturally.
Clipping a birds wings does little to prevent their escape from your home if a window or door is left open and if they do get out the clipping drastically reduces any chance of survival as they have no means of escaping a predator. Flight is the only means that they have of escape unless they are in a flock and even then they rely on flight as much as the rest of the flock for safety. The ability to fly is hardwired into every system in their body from their breathing to how they learn to solve problems and the damage done to a bird goes far beyond the mere clipping of a few feathers that will grow back. It has damaging effect on them physically, mentally and emotionally, some of which may heal with time but some may be permanent. Unless there is a valid medical reason for clipping a birds wings I would not do it.

Baths: amazons love baths! I use a spray bottle on a coarse spray (not really a mist at all) and always sing "Singing in the rain" while I do it (just the one phrase I know which I repeat over and over but they don't mind :D ) and, as soon as they see me coming with the bottle and hear me singing, they get all excited about it. I use cold water but, in the winter, I make it room temperature. Never use a hair dryer on a parrot, it would dry up its skin and feathers and he could get all itchy and the feathers become brittle. All you need to do is make sure the room is warm and that the bath is early enough so he has more than enough time to dry completely before night.

Humidity during the winter: if you cannot have a humidifier in the room where he is kept, you can always wet the paper on the bottom tray of the cage twice a day and allow it to dry naturally. The evaporation of the water will provide some humidity that, as it rises into the cage, will be beneficial to him.

I turn the radio on (to an easy listening station -it's usually classic and soft rock but right now they are playing Christmas carols all day long) when I turn on the overhead lights for them. I put it kind of loud early in the am, turn it down a bit mid-morning, make it very soft at noon (this when they take their noon rest) and turn it off about 2 pm (their lights go off at 3:15 and they get their dinner at 3:30 pm). I also sing loud with them in the morning (and this is when Mami, an old Yellow crown hen I have, sings real loud and completely off key but with great gusto ). And yes, the louder the background noise, the louder they will scream. This is not something you can unteach to them as it's a hardwired natural behavior (they live in large flocks and need to be heard over all the din) so, if it doesn't bother you, it's fine.

Ok I will start bathing him more often and not use a hair dryer. The reason I asked about the music is because I love heavy metal sometimes even death metal but I dont like to play it when im around my parrots because I feel like they wont like it or it might scare them you know what I mean because its just it's so heavy and when I did play it a couple times they started screamimg alot haha I thought oh maybe they dont like it or it scares them so I stopped playing it lol. Thanks for the advice :swaying:

They probably like it a lot as it is loud, The only problem that I see is that the birds might get excited and you would need to allow them to calm down before handling or possibly get bitten.

Yes, you do not want excited or amazons that get used to screaming real loud all the time!

So another question about my lilac. He gets really jealous when I handle other animals. At first I thought it was becuase they are a different species and he is probably scared of them or intimidated but now that ive been spending time with thw little budgie I realized that its not that at all. He is just jealous. He gets loud and crazy and aggressive whenever I handle the little budgie. What can I do?

Not much, I'm afraid. Male amazons are hard-wired to be possessive and not allow any access to their hens so, if your bird thinks of you as his mate, he will always resent and even be aggressive to any person or animal he considers competition. The trick is for them to regard us as flock mates and not real mates...

I am going through the jealousy too. It is sort of like living with a taridactul (spelled wrong) except that they are big enough to see and hear them coming. I have the threat "She bit me".
