Mango and the Great Progress

Postby ParrotsForLife » Wed Feb 17, 2016 9:27 pm

So today I made Mango a little hammock to hang beside his swing and as I was hanging the hammock Mango flew up to the swing beside my hand and wasn't scared of my movements and I had my hand close to him a few times and he was ok.He loves his swing and always flys up and enjoys hearing me talk.He used to rely on me to bring him up to the swing since he is clipped but now I put his T perch on the window sill so he gets on that and flys up to the swing. We made all this progress with no training at all just talking and watching Bowie the Indian ringneck on youtube together lol he is funny and Mango seems to enjoy hearing him talking. So im happy with this progress and I am gonna try hand feed him some seed in the morning and see how he reacts. He also prefers me over the Cockatiels.I'll let you all know how he gets on tomorrow.
