I order a training clicker and millet bits as a treat. Am I ready to go or am I missing anything else?

Since the first training that you will need to do is all basic the only addition that I would suggest is a stick such as a chopstick or something similar to use as a pointer and for a touch stick. This link will explain how to start with your birds training.

I have used bic ink pens for this after removing the ink from them, I more often use a bamboo skewer after clipping off the sharp point. I have lilac bushes outside and it is also a great source for making a pointer from. I have even used my finger for this.

Well, for a Nanday, I would use a larger seed or a piece of a nut. But it doesn't really matter what we think might be the best reward, what matters is what he considers a high value item so let him tell you what he likes best.

You didn't have to order a clicker you can just use a dog clicker.

For my pointer I use a cheap bamboo chopstick, I have found that my gcc does not really like millet, so I will usually use a strawberry(well, any type of sweet fruit.) or sunflower/safflower seeds.

Another Idea for a treat would be peanuts, although these are really not a healthy treat (+they have to be roasted because they are known to carry harmful fungi.), my conure is too small (or lazy) to break through these, and if you were to use them it will probaby take a while for your sun conure to eat.
Good luck
