Unfortunately, there is no 'probably' when it comes to cockatoos being the number one given up bird. It's a fact that they are and the reason is that people with normal lifestyles cannot keep them happy or healthy.

I don't think any one of us is normal. None of our birds are "normal". Each one has an individual personality.

Well, I think you are as normal as I am But I know for a fact that I don't have a 'normal' lifestyle and I doubt you do, too. Normal people have children, full time jobs, go on vacation, stay in bed if they are sick, have dinner parties in the winter, and do NOT get up at 4:30 am during the summer or be home at 3:00 pm in the winter!
