I'm not sure what things I can give as treats

I'm not sure what to give my 2 pet parakeets when training them (other than the treats that can be bought in the Pet Store), and I was wondering if someone could help give me a list

I've used bits of apple. Very small ones so they go far enough.

Agreed, millet spray is probably the best treat for budgies. Just keep the vacuum handy for cleanup afterward as it gets quite messy.
