had her 4 days now she was a return to breeder she knows step up,and some other thing likes being petted im trying to learn what she kmows. i thought id try target training with a chop stick she got so up set seh had a fit i havent seen her do that before. so i said no more sticks any other ideas?

You have only had her for four days. Be patient and let her settle in, talk to her a lot, and pet her f she lets you stroke her feathers. I would suggest waiting at the very least a week before you start trying to train her more, just let her get used to you and her surroundings. Good luck to you.

thanks i am rushing things i did not know that i have never had a bird before.what this about what u cook with? in the kitchen? i dont understand.

Take it easy. Let her settle in. I didnt start training with Kika till he was at least two weeks in my home and I was sure he was feeling like himself.
I do use a chopstick. If she is scared of it you can leave it in her cage. That way she will see it every day and get used to it.
Kika: Senegal Parrot.
Guus: Cockatiel, Yellowcheek, cinnamon, pearl, pied.
