different room to train?

Ok my yellow nape amazon trains where ever but he also hets happy andhis eyes start to pin so that means he will bite talk and play> i took him to my moms room he did everything i asked and did not bite should i change rooms to train?

If you think the training goes better in another room then by all means do it in there...

I presume there are less distractions in there so he concentrates more on the training?

I would agree. I had a similar thing happen with our double yellow head parrot. He would be really nasty and bite when I would try and work on different things with him in our sun room. One day, while we were having renovations done in our house, I had to pull the bird out in the study and he was SO much better. He was not ill mannered at all. Since then, I have continued the training in there. Until he starts to get distracted, we will continue in the study!
