Muffin could be starting to bite because the sessions are too long for her.

I think multiple short sessions in a day are better than one or two long ones - my bird seems to learn faster that way, and is always interested and motivated. Pony starts losing interest after about 20 minutes - and because your bird is new to training, she might get bored faster than that.

Just wanted to let you know, that you can indeed get the pellets here in the UK, even if it might hurt your purse a little bit! My Senegal is raised on seeds and since I just got him monday this week, Ive been looking around for pellets as well. Here's a link from a UK based store I found, that sell Harrison's.

For the training, Im finding with Sazu that he gets tired real quick. (I do not think he has ever been trained) He "lasts" about 5-10 minutes tops, before he looses interest. After this, he snuggles up on his perch for a cuddle and then he takes a nap :) So as others has said, maybe train more often, but shorter times? :)

Day 5: Was up guys, Today Muffin was just not in the mood to do any thing. I will buy the pellets soon but I wanted to ask can i give Muffin pellet and seeds as the pellets are so expencive for a 14 year old. lol I will try muffin again with training tonight. I also wanted to ask, when will Muffin be trained enough so that she will not need the target and learn to be trained like Killi. lol

Day 6: Guys i really need help today was another bad day. All Muffin wants to do is launching her self at me and bite. I only had a 5 minute session. Now I have around 8 bite marks on my arm and fingers.

Please give me some advise.

Day 8: Omg I am shocked. Today was great, Muffin trains better when she has eaten a little. That was the problem I was training Muffin on a empty stomach in the mornings that's why she was so angry and moody and kept nipping me. So today I took Muffin outside to her out door aviary. Me and my dad made it so that she could fly and get fresh air. I first placed her into the aviary and she sat on a perch and after about 10 minutes I got into the cage and Muffin was willing to start training. She stepped up on to my arm. She also sat on my finger for 5 seconds and then tried to nip them. So lets just hope everything goes smooth from now on.

Thankyou for everything.

Also please tell me if you guys like my taming jornal. As it is just for you guys.

That's it from me today

Day 9: Wow oh wow. Muffin has learnt allot over the last 9 days. So to start with I took Muffin out to her aviary. So for most of the day me and my family were playing in our garden as it was such a lovely sunny day here in Britain. So Muffin watched us and ate carrot, drank water and seeds. So after she ate I got into the aviary and we played around. I and she hasn't bitten me for a couple of days :D . So at around 4 pm it started to become a little cooler so we all went in. Then I seen my chance to do a little training. This time me and my sister trained her target training to each others arms. She then sat on my shoulders and then on my arm with the target stick. So then I went to my grans for a couple of hours. So then when I came home I targeted her to my arm and said good night. So I have school tomorrow so me and Muffin will have less time to play.

So I have school tomorrow. ahhh cant wait
