I wouldn't clip them, but that's just me. I personally prefer to have flighted birds.

Are they babies still? I don't think I could ever own a Macaw without being petrified of being bitten. I much prefer petite to small birds. But if I did ever get an extra large bird, it'd definitely be one with a tail like that! I'd probably save their molted tail feathers and make an awesome headdress or something.

Well, today I could't train with them because its raining and very dark here. They were pretty scared, but when I brought their food they came down. I got a big clump in my hand and the smaller macaw named Clara ate right off it (Not the first time) but this time it was a bit different. She normally takes a mouthful and backs off at least a bit. But this time she had her head above my hand the whole time. I could even feel her neck hairs with the tip of my fingers and the skin above her beak with my palm :D . It felt quite nice :mrgreen:
