you're exactly right - more recent findings suggest that tiels actually need some seed in their diet for their livers to function properly (which Aaron thinks is wonderful news!). But it should still only be a small percentage of their total intake.

& Aaron is the same as Rory in that he'll pick up the healthy stuff & then toss is out of his way. I'm cutting back more & more on the stuff he really likes in the hope that he'll be hungry enough to eat more of the healthy food. Keeping an eye on his weight of course by weighing him regularly. Still a battle of the wills! ;)

For something so tiny they have mighty big wills, dont they? But arent they cute? I am sooo in love with mine. I want him around as long as possible which is why I only want the best for him but like a kid, he thinks I am a mean old thing, trying to get him to eat his F&V. We just have to soldier on.
