where to start?

hiya ive got an albino budgie which is tame and im just wondering where is best to start with training what shall i do first?

I would start with target training with a clicker, and then teach him something easy, like, 'turn around'.

took ages to get this pick lol teaching her to come so shes easier to get to when at awkward spots.

How long do you do it for? Until she's comfortable at it. Then you can further challenge her by adding tricks.

Hi, first thing I did was read several of Michael's articles. Even though several of didn't pertain to me directly (i.e. my birds show no aggression towards me), they had several tips and bits of information to assist.
After that I followed the directions on clicker training. Then I moved to the two things my B&G already knew, step-up and wave. That way he associated successful actions with treats/click/praise. Then I moved on to things he didn't know so well, target training, recall and more handling techniques (he is very 'twitchy' about being petted).
Ez first, then new stuff.
