Summer

Hello, well I am still young and go to school and i have no real date for getting a bird, but when i have got all my information and plans together (i'm anticipating years, i am very cautious and i need everything to be right and also I need to be confident on every step.) But, if somehow i do find everything i need soon, i would get it in the summer

Sadly, if i do, then school would come back and the bird would have to adapt to the yearly change of schedules. What exactly should I do about that

i personaly think during ur school years is the worst time to get a parrot.during ur exams ul b too stressed too play and what about when u go to college and u cant bring the bird? the bird will have to adapt to ur life too much. u need to b in a situation where u know ur life wont change too much for the bird. need to know ul never be in a situation lifestyle wise that ul have to leave him/her alone too long or worse bond and then give him or her up. id say wait untill after college or at least wait untill ur in a place where pets are accepted and u can give loads of time all the time.
but if u cant wait that long discuss it with ur parents or sibling and they might help u in rearing the bird. the problem there is the bird may bond with them after u go to school again and be angry at u when u cant give them the time they r used to. and they may bite to show u theyr mad. mayb not all parrots are like this, but iv heard and read a lot of stories.
Dont go rushing into anything, they live for too long. get a hamster who wont be affected by u going to college in later life until ur settled
