Dunno. I used to think my GCC's bites hurt until I got my Sun Conure, who draws blood every time, even though she's not even trying to hurt you.

Just because he came from a pet store does not mean he canot be tamed. Taming takes time and lots of patience on your part. You cannot expect instant progress. these little guys have a strong will, just like us. So be patient, dont push too hard, take your cues from you little guy.

i agree with Mum2rory .he can be tamed it will just take time and he is actually already tamed . you said that he used to step up but now he is biting that means that he isnt afraid from your hand and knows how to step up something made him bite . you just have to continuo with the taming article and videos on trainedparrot.com :hatched:
