My two birds are coming along well with thier training. They know target, turnaround and wave. I have begun to attempt to target from perch to perch. This works well until the perches are far enough apart that the birds have to fly. My

will stop once he can't reach the other perch with his beak (and he will stretch like hell to make it) and my

will hop from perch to perch, but once wings are needed he is also done. I have tried everything I can think of. Close the distance and spread back apart. Spread apart at rates as short as a quarter of an inch and even just trying to wait it out for several minutes, but all to no avail. Does anybody have any idea on what I can do to help my little guys? Thanks in advance.
