Hello I have had my bird for 1 year now and whenever i try to take her out of the cage she bites me. What should I do?

Try to understand the bird's mindset and build a friendship rather than try to make yourself Alpha. She's biting because she doesn't like what you do.. So... don't do it anymore. It's not really a 'problem', more like YOU need to learn to respect her body language.

I think you should leave her cage open and let her come out on her own will, and offer millet when she does come out. My Budgie and I are becoming closer buddies because I've got millet and shiny things that she likes and she wants to come over.

Take her to your room and shut the door. Then, leave the cage open.
