Terrify the Terd!

Postby Nevermore » Tue Sep 27, 2011 6:15 pm

My brat of a boy has been acting the coward for the last week. I got him a new happy-hut. One of the softer ones, compared to the hard ones hes been using. And its a LOT CLEANER (and easier to keep that way)

Of course; hes absolutely terrified of it.

Jack usually isn't too bad with new things. But this happy hut....he's been exposed to it all week. But refused to venture anywhere near it to find out if it would try to eat him or not.

So.....I got fed up....and I chased him around the office for a few minutes with it. Then rolled him up in a towel and stuffed him inside; and fed him sunflower seeds while he was stuck.

Now he likes it.
Wild animals are called 'wild' for a reason. Keep them that way. Adopt your pets, or buy them from a certified breeder.

On the other hand, that was an awful thing for you to do.

I love that. I think it depends on the type of personality the bird has, because some of them really just need that extra push.

haha i agrees wit liz on both things especially lol...ya big meany. i once forced my baby to go into sometin she was scared of...but in a clever way...i put a trail of sunflower seeds into it and kept filling up the trail more if she was too scared untill eventually happily went in and found a hill of treats inside. its nt really forcing...but a nicer idea for u if u get into that again.
funny though
