I did read someone here used the word gentle to tell the parrot that he is biting to hard, and it seemed to work for him. in my opinion if that works and ouch should work just as fine, seeing the parrot doesnt know the difference between gentle and ouch unless it is thought. however yelling ouch might not be a good idea. but saying ouch or whatever might be usable as a command to let go.
So far i havn't had any troubles with biting from Polarn, so havn't really spent to much effort into how to train it not to bite. I know there is a "webinar" hosted by Chet & Dave Womach on howto get your bird stop biting. I received an invite thrue mail to it and registred in time to get a spot for it. got a spot thuesday next week. dont know if it is too late to register for it now or if it is still possible. this particular "webinar" is free to attend.
