hi pennyandrocky,

i wanna ask how u can see the difference between preening n plucking?
she doing the preening quite hard,n i see small white hair falling down.is it plucking?
she also prefer my husband,n i dont get any attack yet, maybe soon :(
n what u do to deal with her jealousy?n what the sign of mya that u can say she prefer ur boyfriend?
my husband dsnt really so much into her, only happy she is in my home-but thats it.im just worried if she become really prefer my husband, its gonna make alot of problem for her-since my husband not really interest into bird.thanks!!

hi melon, plucking is when they pull out the feathers. mya is a chewer, her feathers look frayed then she used to pull them out with her feet. she hasn't plucked in weeks but still chews a little. preening is when they kind of run their beak from body to the end of the feather and rub their head back and forth across body and wings. the small downy feathers come out all the time that's normal. mya shows her preferance by special dance, noise that she was only doing for him now starting to share with me:) she also tried to keep me away from him i did not allow her to chase me away just went right up to her pet her on her head.
