Lorikeet training/taming

Is there anyone here who has done much training/taming with Lorikeets???

Chaos (Rainbow Lorikeet) is about five years old and has always been very friendly. Recently though he has started getting a bit more agressive and tries to bite me if I get too close ( am wondering if it is because he is getting sexually mature). He loves being on me but won't go near my hands without biting them and when he's on my shoulder every now and again he goes for my ears. I am wanting to try using some of the training/taming techniques used on this forum to change this behaviour.

If any of you have done much training with them could you let me know what you find works best and what treats worked well for you so I can try them out.
