Harness training?

I just ordered one of those flight suits for my Green Cheek Conure. How do I go about training him when it gets here? He is still young, not yet a year old, so maybe it won't be too hard. He doesn't randomly bite me, but if I do something he doesn't like he bites down pretty hard. What is the safest way to go about this? I don't want to stress him out!
