Success

Big success with Harlie my rescued 'tiel tonight. It's taken years to get her comfortable enough to take seed from my hands, then nearly another year to get her to take them from me with the cage door open. Tonight she has climbed out of her cage onto the perch attatched to the outside of her cage to get her sunflowers and stepped up onto my hand, spent approximatey 30 minutes preening herself on my shoulder. Stepped up back onto my hand, then onto the perch before slowly climbing back into her cage. :D :D :D So so happy, been such a long slow road because of her past but the little successes makes it all worth it and the big ones make you feel better than I imagine winning the lottery would feel like.
