help with a senegal (sorry looong read)

i've had my senegal krackers for about 5 years. he loves my dad & used to come out all the time and go back in his cage with no problems, how ever the last 2 years have been a night mare he just seemed to changed. he started biting hard my dad & myself & getting very stressed when going back in his cage. I've looked up why he might be doing this such as being placed by a window, he has never been by a window at the time, any changes in the house such as new pets, there have been no changes in the house before he changed, bordem his toys changed regularly & every ones stops to chat to him plus he was by the settee so got lots of attention.i've never changed his food he got fresh fruit and veg every day although hes now refuses any fresh food apart from a few grapes which he will only take a few times a week, unless my dad is eating fruit then he will want what my dad has.
This year i've changed his cage & position of the cage it's a nicer cage which is behind my dads chair and is also facing the garden. i've read putting parrots by a window isn't a good idea but wew were rearranging the front room so no where else to go but he seems a bit happier now as he can see my dad when he's watching tv or when hes in the garden , made a lot of noise till wew opened the blinds up, & hes ever letting me get his bowls and toys out withoput going for me.
so now i want to get back into getting him in & out of the cage with out him getting stressed any tips will be helpful, my dad is at home alot so will have the time & i'll have the time after work to work with him.

You gotta keep training him. Just because he was tame before does not make him have to be tame now. Parrots are not domesticated so they are only as good as we train them to be. Begin the taming process over again. Target training, step up, flight recall are all things you should revisit or perform for the first time. Some basic food management like not feeding meals outside the cage and not until going back in is really important.
