well I got a amazon 2 weeks ago she was scared to come out of her cage and major fear of big dogs with a bad experience with previous owners. Its been 2 weeks and she is doing wonderful. I definitely believe in clicker target training it has definitely worked miracles for us. She now comes out of her cage has learned the step up in a positive manner and is absolutely going to be a great friend. She now trusts me and has become a very loving sweet girl, oh her name is dolly, lol anyone out there that wants some great training tools definitely read up and try the cliker target training being a parrot mom I. My case always needs love, respect, and patience but it pays off with these truly amazing friends we share our lives with. I have had parrot for the last 20 years and they teach us humans so much about love,understanding, and trust I wouldn't trade them for the world...have a great day to all us parrot lovers out there.

I have to agree that target training does do miracles, especially with the clicker.
