Problems stepping up.

Postby ChewToy » Sun Apr 15, 2012 2:14 am

okay my sky, learnt to step up onto my finger quite quickly, and she will usually step up when she's outside of her cage, but lately, whenever I try to get her to step up in her cage, she bites me and it's like she was never tamed. I have started target training her around her cage which she does quite enthusiastically and have tried to target her onto my finger, but it's like she's scared of it, even though she takes treats from my hand, and steps up when she's outside the cage. I don't understand what is going through my budgies head.

Budgies can get kind of like addicted to their cage.
