Will my 2 budgies be able to be tamed and trained?

Postby Skip » Tue Apr 17, 2012 4:07 pm

Hello,
So I have 2 budgies. I kind of never let them out. I always try to but they are either too scared or just lazy. They are very active and my mom no longer has a problem with them being out.

When I gotten my second budgie, Chloe(girl), Toni(first budgie and is boy) changed from being friendly to mean in a way. He doesn't bite and he's not mean to Chloe. But Chloe is mean to him. Here's the weird part, whenever someone walks up to their cage, Chloe starts freaking out and bullies Toni. i don't know why but she does.

Okay I'll get straight to the point now.

My house tends to get very loud when my mother is home the same time my sister is home. They use the blender, cooks very loud, etc. And i really want to tame and train my budgies. Are they able to be tamed and trained while it being loud? It's not really loud but they tend to get noisy(not the budgies but the people are).

Also, Toni and Chloe gets loud when the people gets loud. Just letting you guys know.

P.S. I can't really find target sticks at any of my local pet stores! So what do I do?
Where can I get one?

Thank You
Toni- :budgie:

target sticks don't have to be anything special. I use a chopstick for my budgie. Maybe if you can find a quiet time of the day to start target training them? I'm sure it's possible to tame both your birds but will take alot of patience.

I know it doesn't have to be special. I don't know if I was clear enough but I was really asking what I can use to replace a target stick.

Thanks for your reply though!
