2 year old Senegal, random aggression?

Postby Jessica M » Mon Apr 23, 2012 5:20 pm

So my Senegal just turned 2 last Month = March I don't know if it's a male or female but I'm assuming its a girl so let's keep it simple and I'll refer to her as a she I have had her since last December over the last couple of days she has gotten aggressive, she is very cage agressive with my dog, if my bird is in her cage and my dog goes up to it she will move to the bottom of the cage and try to bite my dog,and she's randomly biting me I ask her to step up and she wil but then all of a sudden shell just clamp down on my hand, and I have to shake her off to gt her to let go and it's not like she's doing this when I'm putting her back in her cage, if only it where that simple of an answer, and she also usually sits on the top of my couch well today she flew on my head and started biting my head she did his several times, she has also been screaming a lot more then normal ow the only times she doesnt scream are when she's out of the cage, or when she's eating.i have tried ignoring her and teaching her new sounds which she hasn't really picked up yet all though she mimiced a blue jays call, any ideas?

Yep, birdie hormones! This is where you pretty much start from the start with basic training and building trust.
