he scream like crazy :(

my CAG become a crazy screamer these day.i dont know what i have to do to make him more calm down.he did this from 10am-1pm and start again from 3pm-8pm non stop.he wast like this before.at first i think its because we add goffin but we move the goffin to my bedroom and he still scream.
im okay with this but honestly my husband not.its very loud.i live on ground floor and my 4th floor neighbor can hear him screaming all the day.

i dont know what i have to do and my husband always complaining why he become like that .
this starting to make me and my husband have a serious problem because he always complain about it.i try to not give any attention to my when he scream,i also leave him alone but there is no result.please help me what i have to do????

My LS too did this also .Shes a rescue ,we got her in oct [ shes 11 yrs old]. Every time we left the room she made this awful honking noise like we were steping on her.One day [I was in a different room] she made a sweet chirping noise.I responded by MAKING A HUGE DEAL and teling her how pretty she was.She made that sound more and more .I continued gushing eveytime I could.It took awhile but now thats the sound she makes.Look for a noise that you can live with and try it .You dont have to be in the same room just respond.Also try something new in his cage he cant resist to keep him busy.Mine like these pinecones rolled in honey and treats.Good luck to you

i tried to reward him if he makes better sound but exactly he make that beautiful sound he will start to scream again.its just like ''i give you a nice sound and now take this!!'' he has a lot of toys around,at least he get new toy every week and i always rotate it for him.attention,water,food always around.i dont know why he did this because this start to drive us crazy.i tried to ignore him all the time but he still-even scream more worse.
he never been like this before,he also healthy and his diet is good.my husband said he will rehome him if he get more worse.my apartment is animal friendly,almost all of them have dog/birds.but im not guaranty if they can tolerate his sound if he always scream allllll the day!

He might need to be out of his cage more .I have mine out with me every morning,playstands when I get home from work ,Then time with family and training.The set schedule works with me [See all my birds] Their happy back in their cage cause they know the routine.[I know other members do it different but this works for me] Hes seems jealous of the 2 [thats hard] I would ride it out.Always see him first.Its a slow go with birds.

he is out from 10 am-10 pm everyday.today he get better and less screaming.i still didnt get any reason yet why he is become very loud.

I'm new to this myself, but I'm learning. Terri is right though- consistency is key. If he normally isn't out if his cage from 10am-10pm, then when you need him to be in his cage he's going to scream because he's been spoiled with all of that out of cage time. Try starting a routine where he's only out of his cage at specific times. Wait right outside the room and as he's screaming bloody murder, if he stops for even for a second, turn into the room and shower him with attention and/or treats. Or if he offers a more desirable sound, do the same thing for that. That's what I'm doing right now with my bird and it's working. Good luck
