Lack of attention

Hello to everyone!

I have a 3 year old pair of Rosella's. The male is called Cheeko and the Female - Jenna.
I have trained Cheeko pretty well. He can do Step up, Shake, Turn around, and almost got down Wave.
Jenna on the other hand is pretty shy and she can only do Target. Whenever i try to get close to try and get a step up she runs away. Also Cheeko is very protective of her and whenever he sees her running away or flying he goes after her. Cheeko doesn't have any one person problems, he steps up on most peoples arms.

So i wanted to ask for help on these problems:

1. Getting it so that Cheeko doesn't follow Jenna all the time.
2. A way to approach a very shy bird with hands?
3. Also sometimes when i try to teach Cheeko tricks on his training perch he looses focus and flies away.
4. Cheeko has a wierd habbit of flying on heads staying there for a while then fly off.

Would be very grateful if someone helps me out with these!

bring jenna into a room closed off to cheeko for training.
don't approach a shy bird with hands,make the shy bird want to come to your hands.
when they loose focus on training and fly away they're done training.

Use Cheeko to teach Jena. Flockers copy each other.

A flighted bird is easy to get off. Open your hand and spread your fingers wide palm first. It should scare them off. If not make contact the next time. You can't hurt a flighted bird with soft contact but you can make them move.

Myrtle does not hold a grudge. If I have to swat her off she understands. I am now able to use my open hand accross the room to stop destruction. I also use the word no but then sometimes she back talks is baby babble.
