i have a green cheek conure she is 11 weeks old and still new to the family but is sweet most of the time we named her syike because she will be loving one moment and trying to bite your finger the next she dosnt attack its more like a warning i was wondering what i could try to do to stop her
Ignore her completely. If you react she will have a reason to carry on doing it. At 11 weeks I'm pretty sure she is just exploring her new home and people rather than she has learned to be aggressive. Green cheeks have a reputation for being nippy though so you will have to concentrate and learn her body language to prevent bites and when they do bite ignore them.
just an update i started target training and yesterday we had our first interaction with no biting i know target training is some overnight magic but i think we are starting to bond my wife said when i went to shopping that syike started crying and sulking in her cage and was very glad to see me when i got home i think this is going to work i am so happy
