There is a wiffle like ball in her cage that has a bell in it. I have been using that as a forager and have been filling it with apple since that seems to be her favorite. I would love to hear some ideas though on some homemade stuff. :)

Foraging toys are a good suggestion, I've used paper cups, small card boxes (glue free), Small pieces of plain paper or bun cases to wrap food up in, holes drilled into small blocks of wood to stuff treats into. Plastic caps from pop bottles can be used to hide food under. Some people use small containers and fill them with safe leaves, twigs, shredded paper and hide food/foot toys in them.

Wiffle balls are good too but I only put dry food in them for hygeine reasons, Have a look at my profile picture too, those foraging balls are fairly cheap for a pre-made toy, will last a long time, are big enough to hide food and small items in to chew. They can free roll or be hung up, easy to clean, can be packed loosely or tightly with shredded paper to change the difficulty.

I too would like to hear other peoples ideas.

I have 2 very young GCCs and both of them are natural acrobats that love swinging/climbing toys and foraging toys. They will play for hours on end and put on quite adorable displays playing with these toys. It sounds like she was spoiled by the first owner/breeder and craves 24/7 human attention. This may take you awhile to get her settled in keeping herself occupied with fun toys and things to occupy her time either in her cage, on a play gym or both. GCCs are very smart and can be manipulative if you allow them to be.

Best of luck.

Thanks! Today is the 5th day of her being home and although she still screams in the cage alot, the foraging toys seem to help a bit. Im trying to get her used to playing with her other toys too but that is taking a while. She will play with them for a minute and then go back to crying out. Hopefully the behavior she learned from the previous onwner will fade out after a while. For now, I will just continue to ignore her screams even though it breaks my heart. :/
