regarding handfeeding , I find it to be more so conveniant than a nessessity to be honest. basically it easens up progress in some areas making it a hella lot faster than a non handfed (note though, the handfeeding itself is in my eyes pretty much pointless I think it is more so the handling they go through during the feedingroutine that sets the "standards" than the feeding itself, meaning a bird handled as frequent but not fed by the breeder should in theory be as tolerable, definitly not sure about this though :)
But regarding headscratches, I got Polarn (BF amazon) when he was about 6 months, he still doesnt really want his head scratched, he wants it every once in a while if he has a feather annoying him. Gila (RB2) that I've only had for a few months and that was 5+years never handled and has a handicap, she will come by every night if i hold my hand down and snug up into it (up until I happen to look at what shes doing) like I can sit in the chair at the computer and put my hand down and she will come grab a headscratch but as soon as I look at her she will wobble off. Or when I'm in bed after lights out if I hang my hand down to the floor its the same thing, same with her sleeping, she perches right next to the bed, but only if I doesnt look at her, in that case she will come by later haha. so scratches is definitly individual.

Haha, yes, i'm sure it all depends on the individual.
As for the beak moving, is this normal?
