Hey, so I've recently added a male Eclectus to my flock and I've had a couple questions, it's almost as if I've reverted to a beginner bird owner, I had a teething stage with my female eclectus but it was never to this degree, the male bites down hard and I do the proper no reaction, ignore bad behavior reinforce good, he's a bit stubborn so I use lures to sort of bridge the behavior and slowly phasing out the lure. Is that the proper way to do it? He's still 4 months and has no concept of trick training. Also, I find it hard to spend time with him, out in the living room, he wants to go back into the room with his cage in it, and when he's out of his cage, he prefer to be on his cage, rather than a playstand, but when I take him off the playstand he prefers to go back to the cage again, if I'm making sense. Regardless, he hasn't a real interest in hanging out with me and I feel guilty since I give my female full and uninterrupted attention where as he doesn't really let me because it doesn't seem like he wants to. Any information will be great, thanks.
